From the Tiki Boutique

Thank you for your support of our first year.  If you didn't make it by, or, did not know it existed, The Tiki Boutique is located inside J.F. Walleye's and is the only gift shop/boutique on Middle Bass Island. You can find your favorite MBI clothing or gift item, and the selection changes weekly! Next season promises to be even more exciting as we will restock the boutique with items from all over the country this winter. Don't forget for you bead collectors, The Tiki Boutique has commissioned a jewelry maker and has the exclusive rights to the official Middle Bass Island bead! Watch our blog for news.

New Years Eve Party is on at J.F. Walleye's!

Keeping an island tradition alive for another year as J.F. Walleye's will once again open the doors for a New Years Eve party. This years party was in question until an anonymous donation insured the tradition for the island would live on. The party will include a Prime Rib Dinner, Champagne toast at midnight, collector champagne glasses to keep, and an evening of dancing with the musical talents of the "Mid Life Crisis Band" from Findlay Ohio. Cost of the party is $75 per couple, $40 for a single. Airfare can be purchased form Griffing Flying Service by calling (419)734-5400. Condo rentals are avilable as well. Please see http://www.middlebassrentals.com/ for availability, or call Chris @ (440)823-2990. The price of a condo for the weekend is only $200 and can accomodate up to 4 couples!

New Micro Brew now at J.F. Walleye's

We have hired a new brewmaster at J.F. Walleye's, and the new brew is on tap! For the fall, we have introduced 'Hallow Ale", a fall fest micro brew with malt overtones. This will only be available for a limited time, so stop by Walleye's today to try it!

2010 Halloween at J.F. Walleye's

The Halloween party at Walleye's was a HUGE hit with everyone. Over 120 people visited the fun. Music was provided by Classic Trendz from Findlay, Ohio. There was plenty of food that included Walleye's famous wings, home made sourkraut balls, and much more. Cash prizes were paid out to the best costumes.
